Apologies for the lack of updates; rather busy period. However, to gratify you all here are pictures of my latest endeavor: croissants. This is attempt 3. As you can see, the outsides look OK (well, not perfect; I lack a pastry brush so I had to do the eggwash withmy fingers; it wasn't pleasant), but the insides are still a miserable failure. Will make another attempt soon; probably lower temp, slightly less butter, more work on my rolling + folding technique.
