I went to the Maze this August 2010 with my girlfriend, hoping for a romantic dinner. Even though the restaurant is not starred in Michelin's green guide, it is still priced as if it were. Although the place looks good and refined, I was shocked by the loud noise of many American customers and the clumsy waiters who many times almost spilled my water.
Even though there were a few setbacks, the service was fast and the food was great, maybe a plate or two were slightly pretentious. By pretentious I mean I could make it myself for a dollar.
In the end, the food choice and the quality of ingredients reach expectations. It is still far below the Maze of London (in the UK) and somewhat slightly overpriced.
